Louis Anthony Martinez, 53, Garden City, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Wichita.

Louis Anthony Martinez, 53, Garden City, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Wichita.

He was born on April 17, 1961, to Paul Lopez Martinez and Connie Rangel.

He married Olimpia "Lety" Moreno on April 8, 2006. She survives. Also surviving are daughter, KaLeena Martinez, Wichita; step-son Eric Ramirez, Garden City; step-daughter Nora Soto, Garden City; sisters, Mary Martinez and Carla Martinez Ramirez of Lawrence, Paula Martinez Steele of Enterprise and Jackie Martinez Unruh of Deerfield; brother, Paul Lopez Martinez Jr. of Lawrence and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Victor Rangel martinez.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at New Life Community Church, Garden City. Graveside services follow at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
