SATANTA — Donnie Marshall Moree, 69, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.

SATANTA — Donnie Marshall Moree, 69, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.

He was born May 13, 1944, to Marshall Odell and Mariam (Crawford) Moree, in Amarillo, Texas.

He married Georgia Lynne Unger on Aug. 28, 1978, in Clayton, N.M.

He worked as a controls technician for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline of Satanta.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daniel Moree of Sierra Vista, Ariz. and Troy Moree of Rose Hill; one daughter, Lynde Kerr of Liberal; two step-children, Stephanie Zanghi and Kurt Deaton of Liberal; one sister, Jolene Fondren of Hot Springs, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; Timothy "Timmy" and Anthony "Tony" Moree; two brothers, Robert and Jerry Lynn Moree; and one sister, Juanita Moree Nichols.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta. There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army or First Baptist Church of Satanta, in care of Swaim Funeral Chapel of Sublette. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at
