ULYSSES — Homero L. Esquivel, 70, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospital Center in Wichita.

He was born March 7, 1943, in Brownsville, Texas, to Estaben and Antonia Lopez Esquivel.

He married Dominga Pauda Esquivel on July 27, 1968, in Brownfield, Texas.

He worked for T&L Irrigation for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Homero Esquivel Jr., and Henry Esquivel; three daughters, Isabel Esquivel, Angielee LeNeve and Andria Mondragon, all of Ulysses; four sisters, Betrice Cruz, Santos Medellin, Rita Castillo and Juanita Martinez, all of Texas; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Antonia Alvarez; a sister, Olivia Renteria; and several brothers.

Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses.

Mass Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Ulysses.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Grant County Funeral Home.
