TRIBUNE — Charles William Harris, 84, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center Long Term Care in Tribune.

TRIBUNE — Charles William Harris, 84, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center Long Term Care in Tribune.

He was born Sept. 30, 1928, at Wellington to Robert William (R.W.) and Goldia M. Zimmerman Harris.

He married Verna Lou Kinlund in December 1946 at Tribune.

He graduated from Greeley County High School in 1946, and was a lifelong farmer and cattleman.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Clark Harris of Tribune; a daughter, Jill Pollock of Hays; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Greg William Harris; a sister, Wilma Brunswig; and a grandson, Phillip Pollock.

Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.

Services are 2 p.m. MDT Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Tribune. Burial will be at Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune.

Memorials are suggested to Greeley County Health Services in care of the funeral home.
