TRIBUNE — Audrey Leone Hunter, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

TRIBUNE — Audrey Leone Hunter, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

She was born June 6, 1922, in Tribune to Joseph Porter and Oma Douglas Smith.

A lifetime resident of Tribune, she was a ranch wife and partner in Hunter Livestock Co.

On April 29, 1944, she married Clayton G. Hunter in Lakin.

She is survived by one son, Jeff Hunter, Kempner, Texas; a sister, Leona Nelson, Shawnee, Colo.; a granddaughter; four great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, J.D. Hunter; three brothers, Jay Smith, Donald Smith and Ivan Smith; and four sisters, Evelyn Kellogg, Dora Lee Bishop, Ilene Koepske, and Edith Mayeaux.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. MST Sept. 28 at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune.

Memorials may be given to the Greeley County Health Center Long Term Care, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.
