GARDEN CITY — Carole Kleeman, 82, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City.

GARDEN CITY — Carole Kleeman, 82, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City.

She was born Feb. 6, 1932, at Dighton to Carl and Clarissa Caroline Troudt Gustafson.

She married Darrel Kleeman on Dec. 6, 1991, in Wichita.

Kleeman grew up in Dighton and Garden City and graduated from Garden City High School. She was a bus driver and paraprofessional for USD 457 for 23 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kelly Dawson; and a sister, Ruth Ann Gustafson.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Dawson of Garden City, and Gregg Dawson of Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Gale Gustafson of Evansville, Ind.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Family graveside services will be at Dighton Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo or Finney County Humane Society in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
