ELKHART — Anna G. Britt, 84, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.

ELKHART — Anna G. Britt, 84, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.

She was born June 1, 1929, in Clayton, N.M., to Donald and Harriet Fry Cozby.

A longtime resident of Elkhart, Mrs. Britt was a homemaker. She also had worked as a sales clerk for Duckwalls and worked at the Dairy Kreem.

She married James Terry Britt in 1945. He preceded her in death as did her parents; two brothers, Don Cozby and Jack Schultz; and a sister, Gladys Stroud.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Britt of Elkhart; a daughter, Linda Koski of Elkhart; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart. Burial will follow at Elkhart Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Elkhart Recreation Girls Softball Program, in care of the funeral home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
