Orrin Leon Sinclair, 55, a former Garden City resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Orrin Leon Sinclair, 55, a former Garden City resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, in Des Moines, Iowa.

He was born March 15, 1958, to Donna and George J. Sinclair.

Mr. Sinclair had an interest in playing chess, fishing and working on cars. He enjoyed listening to music, especially the blues.

Survivors include a son, Barry Sinclair and his wife Tisha; a daughter, Jenise Colyer and her husband Josh; seven grandchildren; a brother, Ron Sinclair; and a sister, Amanda Stimatze of Garden City. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 5 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.

Memorials are suggested to Baxter Healthcare Center, 407 S. East Avenue, Baxter, Iowa.
