Louise Marie Fight, 71, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in Fort Smith, after a lengthy illness.

Louise Marie Fight, 71, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in Fort Smith, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 21, 1942, in Guthrie, Okla., to Earl and Minnie Wing.

Mrs. Fight was retired after 30 years of service with Whirlpool.

Survivors include her husband, Albert; three sons, Rick Edwards, Lonnie Edwards of Garden City, and Scotty Edwards; a daughter, Shawn Harman; four stepsons, Louie Fight, Michael Fight, Kelly Fight and Scott Fight; a brother, Dennis Wing; two half brothers, Floyd and Tony Griffith; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wing; her parents; and a grandson.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 201 N. 12th St., in Fort Smith.
