Thelma L. Immenschuh

TOPEKA — Thelma Luella Immenschuh, 93, of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Holton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at her home she shared with her daughter. She was born March 10, 1920, in rural Carbondale, the daughter of Jess W. and Effie Mae (Beam) Hoy.

Thelma had also lived in the Carbondale and Oskaloosa communities. She was a homemaker and housewife.

She married Roscell "R.J." "Butch" Immenschuh on March 4, 1940, in Bartlesville, Okla. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2008. She was also preceded in death by a son, Warren L. Immenschuh, in 2007.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy F. MacEachern of Asheboro, N.C., and Melva K. Taylor of Topeka, Kan.; a son, Larry L. Immenschuh of Soldier, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery.
