TRIBUNE — David Eugene "Hogie" Woelk, 62, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

TRIBUNE — David Eugene "Hogie" Woelk, 62, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

He was born May 5, 1951, to Lewis Earl and Jennie Leona Cronkite Woelk in Cheyenne Wells, Colo.

Mr. Woelk was lifetime resident of Greeley County.

He married Shari Waggoner on Sept. 22, 1973, in Tribune. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother; two children, Cody Woelk of Tribune and Cori Woelk of Ponca City, Okla.; two grandchildren, Morgan and Karlyn Woelk, both of Tribune; and one brother, Ron Woelk of Leawood.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. MST Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Tribune.

At his request, the family will scatter his remains at several favorite family locations at a later date.

There will be no calling times.

Memorials may be given to the Greeley County 4-H in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.
