SCOTT CITY — Michael T. Truax, 41, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

SCOTT CITY — Michael T. Truax, 41, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

He was born May 25, 1972, in Scott City, to Duane and Nancy Batchelder Truax.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mr. Truax was a website designer and a moderator of Ironman.com and Pillarofstrength.com.

Survivors include his parents, of Scott City; and a brother, Nick Truax of Garden City. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Pearl Batchelder and Rollie and Florence Truax.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.

Visitation hours are 3 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be given at www.priceandsons.com or pricefh@wbsnet.org. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Michael Truax Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, KS 67871.
