HUGOTON — Mark Edward Lewis, 45, died Monday, June 17, 2014, at his home in Hugoton.

HUGOTON — Mark Edward Lewis, 45, died Monday, June 17, 2014, at his home in Hugoton.

He was born April 2, 1969, in Hugoton, to Dean E. Lewis Jr. and Linda Rhoades Cook.

A lifetime resident of Hugoton, Mr. Lewis worked for Passmore Brothers of Hugoton.

Survivors include two daughters, Makayla Lewis of Norfolk, Va., and Sara Walter of Benbrook, Texas; his father, of Hugoton; two brothers, Michael Dean Lewis of Warrensburg, Mo., and Matthew Wayne Lewis of Wichita; two sisters, Keri LeAnn Clark of Hugoton, and Tricia Luedke of Olathe; his stepfather, Rick Cook of Henderson, Texas; his grandparents, Dean and Gloria Lewis of Hugoton; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents, Marshall and Minnie Rhoades.

Funeral will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Hugoton. Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 4 to 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton. A memorial has been established for the family, in care of the funeral home, Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
