Terry D. Shields, 51, died Monday, June, 17, 2013, at his home in Phillipsburg.

He was born June 27, 1961, in Phillipsburg, to Ronald D. and LuJuana C. Geist Shields.

Mr. Shields worked at Tamko Roofing Products in Phillipsburg for many years.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lu and Bob Baker of Garden City; a son, Austin Shields, and a daughter, Brighton Shields, both of Phillipsburg; a brother, Jim Shields of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Cindy Oberheim of Holcomb, and Kathy Prentice of Garden City; and a grandson.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Community Church of God, Phillipsburg. Burial will follow at Marvin Cemetery in Glade.

Visitation hours are noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to the Terry Shields Memorial Fund or Community Church of God.
