June E. Davies, 85, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.

June E. Davies, 85, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.

She was born June 8, 1928, in Beresford, S.D., to Andrew U. and Edith Webber Anderson.

Mrs. Davies moved to Garden City in March 2013 to reside with her son and daughter-in-law.

Survivors include a son, David and wife Sally Heiser of Garden City; a sister, Katherine Larson of Beresford; a brother, Bill Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren, Aaron Heiser of Raymore, Mo., and Julie and husband Edward Kisinger of Savannah, Texas; three great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Heiser, Kimberlyn Kisinger and Simon Kisinger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lloyd Anderson, Lewis Anderson and Lyman Anderson; and a sister, May Anderson.

Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
