HUGOTON — Annis Belle Stremel, 82, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at High Plains Retirement Village in Lakin.

HUGOTON — Annis Belle Stremel, 82, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at High Plains Retirement Village in Lakin.

She was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Stevens County, to Howard and Lenora Amen Hodges Willis.

She had owned her own beauty salon in Liberal.

Survivors include two sons, David Stremel of Montana, and Carl Stremel of Alabama; a daughter, Caroline Mays of Tennessee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams; her parents; and eight siblings.

Graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Hugoton Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.
