Salvador J. 'Dory' Lopez

Garden City native born and raised, everyone has known him as Dory Lopez, 54, a die-hard fan of the 49er's, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, Nov. 4, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in York, Pa.

Survivors include his mother, Columba Ramirez; son, Joseph Roberts; siblings, Rita Lopez, Robert Lopez, Benita Lopez Rowell, Ventura Lopez III, Mary Ellen Lopez, Jesus Hernandez, Julia Cantu, Bonnie Cantu, Toni Cantu, Becky Cantu, Linda Martinez and Ricardo Torres; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, Uncle Jesus B. Ledesma; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ventura "Ben" Lopez II; brother, Benigno Hernandez; and niece, Amy Lee Cedillo. He will be truly missed by all.

Viewing Monday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Adamson Burial in Greeley, Colo. A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley, Colo.
