Jackie Hagen, 79, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was born March 1, 1934, in Garden City, to Ruth VanWinkle Bell and Earnest Gerald Bell.

On May 29, 1953, she married Harold Hagen in Garden City.

A former resident of Ingalls and Cimarron, Mrs. Hagen had lived in Colorado Springs for 24 years. She was a farmer and school lunch lady.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Rick and Kelly Hagen, both of Colorado Springs, and Gary Hagen of Bodega Bay, Calif.; a daughter, Chris Beery of Cimarron; a brother, Gerald Bell of Garden City; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be scheduled for this spring.
