SUBLETTE — Carol Y. Eilerts, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit in Satanta.

SUBLETTE — Carol Y. Eilerts, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit in Satanta.

She was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Garden City, to Guy Bryan and Rosa Hert Redd. She graduated from Sublette High School in 1952.

On May 23, 1954, she married William Lee "Bill" Eilerts.

Mrs. Eilerts worked at Irvine Unified School District in Irvine, Calif., as a secretary. She moved back to Sublette in January 2007.¬ 

Survivors include two sons, Brian Eilerts of Sublette, and Zane Eilerts of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard Redd.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Sublette Christian Church. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette.

Visitation hours are noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com. Memorials are suggested to Sublette Christian Church, in care of the funeral home.
