ROLLA — Weldon R. Clinesmith, 78, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

ROLLA — Weldon R. Clinesmith, 78, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

He was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Rolla, to Howard and Leone Ipson Clinesmith.

Mr. Clinesmith worked for the Morton County Sanitary Department for many years.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles Clinesmith of Hugoton, and Raymon Clinesmith of Ulysses; and a sister, Esther Smith of Canon City, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bob, Jim and Howard Clinesmith; and three sisters, Margaret Clinesmith, Norma Keener and Phyllis Jones.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Rolla. Burial will be at Rolla Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton. Memorials are suggested to Rolla United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home, Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
