VICTORIA, KAN. — James Michael "Fritz" Wohler, age 50, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at the Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan.

He was born Aug. 21,1963, in Wichita, Kan., to Cecil Alvin and Jean Frances (Estes) Wohler. He married Peggy (Hammersmith) on Feb. 3, 2001, in Dodge City, Kan.

He was a sales representative for Xcaliber International for the last four years and was with United States Smokeless Tobacco for 15 years. He was a 1981 graduate of Wichita North High School. He moved to Victoria in 2002, and was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church Victoria, Kan. He enjoyed all sports, his kids and family.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Wohler, of the home; four sons, Barnabus Wohler, Salina, Kan., Jublain Wohler, Wichita, Kan., Michael Wohler and Thaddeus Wohler, both of the home; six daughters, Anastasia Wohler, Salina, Kan., Brenda Gaston and husband, Dan, Leawood, Kan., Kristi Geihsler and husband Jeremey, Overland Park, Kan., Jolene Haas and husband, Ty, Hays, Kan., Marie Hoffman, Lawrence, Kan., Stephanie Hoffman, Manhattan, Kan.; his mother, Jean Frances Wohler, Wichita, Kan.; three bothers, Gil Wohler and wife, Eliana, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Tim Wohler and wife, Therese, Wichita, Kan., Tom Wohler, Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Gail Gidney and husband, Kevin, Park City, Kan.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Millie Hammersmith-Windholz, Victoria, Kan.; two grandchildren, Peyton Geihsler and Elle Geihsler; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father.

Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, Kan. Burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kan.

A vigil service is at 7 p.m. Friday at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main St., Victoria, KS 67671. Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, all at Cline's Mortuary Victoria, Kan.

Family suggests memorial to the children's education in care of Peggy Wohler. Condolences can be sent via email to clinesmortuary@eaglecom.net.
