Senior center accepting donations for school


In honor of national Grandparents Week, the Senior Center of Finney

In honor of national Grandparents Week, the Senior Center of Finney

County will "do something grand" as it partners with Golden Plains

Credit Union to accept donations of nonperishable food items to provide

to Buffalo Jones Elementary School. These food items will be used in

weekend food backpacks.

Donations may be brought to the senior center, 907 N. 10th St., and

will be delivered to the school on Sept. 13. Suggested items include

canned Vienna sausages, Ramen noodles, cheese or peanut butter crackers,

canned fruit cups or juice boxes. For more information, call Barbara
