Local FHSU reception set for Tuesday night

Southwest Kansas Area Chapter alumni and friends of Fort Hays State University are invited to attend a special Tiger reception at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2202 N. Center St.

Southwest Kansas Area Chapter alumni and friends of Fort Hays State University are invited to attend a special Tiger reception at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2202 N. Center St.

FHSU President Edward H. Hammond, making a stop on his annual media tour, will be the special guest. He will give an overview of the latest developments and happenings at FHSU. Attendees can enjoy hors d'oeuvres and drinks while they get news from the university.

Other FHSU guests include Kent Steward, director of university relations; and DeBra Prideaux, FHSU executive alumni director.

Registrations are accepted by visiting www.goforthaysstate.com/events. A fund request of $5 per person will be used to support area students attending FHSU. RSVPs are due by Saturday.

Alumni hosts will be Josh and Jeanine Biera and Brenda Reeve.
