YMCA offers fitness certification class

Garden City Family YMCA and NETA, a nonprofit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring a personal training certification class this weekend. Class times will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the YMCA, 1224 Center St.

Garden City Family YMCA and NETA, a nonprofit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring a personal training certification class this weekend. Class times will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the YMCA, 1224 Center St.

This workshop will include demonstrations and practical applications of one-on-one training. Workshop registration includes a written exam and two-year certification.
