'Roadrunners' and 'Classic 3' to perform

'Roadrunners' and 'Classic 3' to perform

Two musical programs are on tap at Homestead Assisted Living, 2414 N. Henderson St.

"Classic 3" will perform at 7 tonight and "The Roadrunners" will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The public is encouraged to attend at no charge.

Public invited to church open house

An open house is planned for Sunday to honor Pastor John and Michele Elder of Garden City Church of the Brethren.

The public is invited from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church, 505 N. Eighth St.

Deerfield High School prepares for play

"Snow White, The Untold Story" is the all-school play being presented at Deerfield High School.

Performances are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school auditorium.

Admission is $3 for youth and $4 for adults.

YMCA offers aqua exercise session

The Garden City Family YMCA has teamed up with local experts to provide the community with interactive sessions packed with information to help attendees develop positive lifestyle changes and achieve a healthy spirit, mind and body.

This month's session, "Water in Motion," is a new aqua exercise workout that provides a low-impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages, skill and fitness levels. It will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The event is free to members and $5 for program participants.
