AVID program having informational meeting

The Garden City High School Advancement Via Individual Determination program will have an informational meeting for parents and students at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Commons Area at the school, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. There will be a dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

The Garden City High School Advancement Via Individual Determination program will have an informational meeting for parents and students at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Commons Area at the school, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd. There will be a dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

AVID is a college readiness system for elementary through higher education that is designed to increase school-wide learning and performance. The AVID College Readiness System accelerates student learning, uses research-based methods of effective instruction, provides meaningful and motivational professional learning, and acts as a catalyst for systemic reform and change.
