Jennie Barker Elementary School will hold a Literacy and Math Night on Tuesday, starting at 5:30 p.m.

There will be a parent meeting at the beginning of the event in the school library. Students will go to the gymnasium to participate in planned literacy and math activities.

A book fair will start at 6:45 p.m. and during the evening, the PTO will be selling pizza, cookies and a drink for $5. There will be free books given to participants in attendance during the event.

The evening provides students and their parents an opportunity to obtain materials that would help them work together on literacy and math skills at home.
