Orders are now coming in for the Finney County Historical Society's

pre-Labor Day pork rib and beef brisket sale, and there's still time for

Southwest Kansans to reserve briskets or ribs.

The non-profit fundraising endeavor supports exhibits, programs and

educational efforts at the Finney County Museum, and orders may be

placed through today. Pick-up for customers will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Aug. 29 at the museum meeting room, 403 S. Fourth at Finnup Park.

Prepared by Webb's Food Crew and Barbecue, orders will be hot, ready

and fully cooked. The sale includes racks of pork spare ribs, $25 each,

weighing approximately three pounds; and beef brisket, $50 each. Each

brisket weighs about six pounds and serves up to 15 people.

Payment by cash or check is necessary in advance, and orders may be

placed with any member of the FCHS Board of Directors. Orders may also

be placed in person at the museum or by calling 272-3664.
