FCPA to host Windsor benefit concert

The Finney County Preservation Alliance is hosting a "Razing the Roof" benefit concert on Sept. 21 in the band shell at Stevens Park to help raise money to help preserve the Windsor Hotel.

The Finney County Preservation Alliance is hosting a "Razing the Roof" benefit concert on Sept. 21 in the band shell at Stevens Park to help raise money to help preserve the Windsor Hotel.

The show opens at 7 p.m. with Garden City's own, "Million Dollar Band," followed at 9:30 p.m. by, "Asleep at the Wheel."

The event includes food, adult beverages, an auction, dancing and games. Funds raised at the concert will help pay for architecture and engineering expenses for stabilization and renovation of the 1887 icon of downtown Garden City and western Kansas.
