Fiddle, pick, and sing starting on Saturday

The Garden City Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers will begin performing at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St.

The monthly program of old-style country music is free to the public. Anyone wishing to perform is welcome to sign in to take a turn in the rotation of musicians and singers.

A carry-in supper will be served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (bring your favorite covered dish), followed by more music until 9 p.m.

Admission is free to the public.

Party planned at Garden Valley Church brings in the New Year

A New Year's Eve Party will begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the gym at Garden Valley Church, 1701 N. Third St.

The evening will feature live music, group activities such as limbo and a gingerbread house build-off, crafts, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, pool and more until 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a snack to share.
