Extension elections set for Tuesday

The Finney County Extension Council annual elections will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Finney County Extension Office, 501 S. Ninth St. All legal residents of Finney County, age 18 and older, are eligible voters.

Three representatives will be elected for each of the Extension Program Development Committees. Write-in candidates also will be accepted. Information about each candidate will be available at the Extension office.

Candidates are: Agriculture — Aaron Anderson, Doug Mai and Randy Palkowitsh; Family & Consumer Science — Kim Hendricks, Elizabeth Vondrak, Jan Pishny and Sondra Simmons; 4-H & Youth Development — Brian Bahl, Tara York, Jill George and Christine Lightner; and Economic Development — Barbara Jensen, Lora Norquest and Billy Myatt.
