A benefit concert to help Moore, Okla., recover from the tornado that hit last month is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. today, June 20, at Stevens Park.

A benefit concert to help Moore, Okla., recover from the tornado that hit last month is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. today, June 20, at Stevens Park.

The concert, "Give More for Moore," will feature a variety of local musicians including Joey Arellano, Esteban Gonzales, TyRae Carr and many more. People will be able to vote for their favorite performer by donating money to their respective jars.

Concessions will be provided by the GCHS FFA club, and there will be drawings for prizes donated by downtown businesses. All proceeds will go toward reconstruction of Moore. A group of Garden City volunteers will deliver donations to Moore the following day as part of a weekend-long volunteer trip.
