Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Saturday

Natosha Garcia, 26, 2111 A St., was cited and released at 8:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Taylor Avenue on an allegation of disorderly conduct.

Preston McDaniel, 18, Holcomb, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of Pats Drive on allegations of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Helena Grewing, 28, 2521 N. Seventh St., was arrested at 2:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of Harding Avenue on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Jeremy Weber, 29, Wichita, was arrested at 8:26 p.m. in the 800 block of North Fifth Street on allegations of driving while suspended and driving while a habitual violator.

Jacob Riojas, 20, 5840 N. Third St., was arrested at 11;17 p.m. at Landmark National Bank, 1008 N. Main St., on allegations of transporting an open container and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Isaac Gonzalez, 18, Amarillo, Texas, was arrested at 11;17 p.m. at Landmark National Bank on allegations of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and transporting an open container.

Victor Isaac Martinez, 33, 305 N. Third St., was arrested at 12:25 p.m. on allegations of assault and disorderly conduct.

Friday

Joel Torres, 33, 211 S. Fourth St., was arrested at 9:30 a.m. at 211 S. Fourth St. on allegations of robbery, interference with law enforcement, deprivation of property and an arrest-to-detain order.

Judy Valerio, 50, 1311 B St., was arrested at 7:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of B Street on two probation violation warrants.

Sunday

Between 5 and 5:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Street, an unknown person slashed four tires on a vehicle with an unknown instrument. Loss $800.

Between 5 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of East Chestnut Street, an unknown person damaged a vehicle. Loss $800.

Between 5 p.m. Saturday and 1:50 p.m. in the 600 block of North Eighth Street, an unknown person used unknown object to scratch and damage a vehicle. Loss $2,400.

At 2:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bancroft Street, a known person took a vehicle without permission.

Between 2 and 3 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Fulton Street, a known person took a laptop and cell phone. Loss $600.

Between 9 a.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday at Famous Footwear, 2214 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase merchandise. Loss $100.

Between 9 a.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday at Auto Zone, 1010 Campus Drive, an unknown person used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase merchandise. Loss $100.

Between 9 a.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday at Rue 21, 2204 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase merchandise. Loss $100.

Friday

Between 11 and 11:30 p.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person took a wallet and credit cards. Loss $35.

Between 7 p.m. July 11 and 6 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Campbell Street, an unknown person stole a toolbox containing several tool sets. Estimated loss $500.

At 8 a.m. at 900 Jennie Barker Road, a known person used someone's identity to incur large bills at a local business. Loss $1,321. Investigation continues.

At 7 p.m. at Dollar General, 514 W. Mary St., unknown persons took a DVD without paying for the item. Loss $7.

Between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Glenellen Drive, an unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and took credit cards and a wallet. Loss $50.

Between 2:05 and 2:12 p.m. in the 2100 block of East Kansas Avenue, an unknown person used counterfeit currency to purchase items. Estimated loss $100.

Between 10:15 and 10:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of Glenellen Drive, an unknown person stole the victim's vehicle. Loss $2,000.

Miscellaneous Saturday

Between 2:05 and 2:07 a.m. at Time Out, 1319 N. Taylor Ave., a known person utilized his vehicle to injure a person. Investigation continues.

Friday

Between 2:45 and 3:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of Taylor Plaza, known persons cashed a counterfeit payroll check and attempted to cash another. Loss $595. Investigation continues.

July 10

At 12 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50, a known person struck the victim. Investigation continues.

July 10

Monique Renee Gallegos, 23, 2224 W. Kansas Ave., was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on allegations of failure to wear a seat belt, driving while suspended, improper turn and improper child safety restraint.

Richard Derrick Ortiz, 18, 302 N. Chestnut St., was arrested at 11:32 a.m. on an allegation of racing on highways.

Alejandro Vasquez, 44, Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested at 9 a.m. on a bench warrant.

Darrel Monroe Woods, 69, 312 S. Elm St., was arrested at 10:47 a.m. on allegations of no proof of insurance, invalid vehicle registration and improper driving on laned roadway.

Alejandra Estrada Dominguez, 22, Lakin, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. on allegations of securing loads on vehicles and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.
