Garden City Police Criminal Damage

June 28

Between 4:15 and 4:20 p.m. in the 200 block of West Olive Street, an unknown person damaged a fence and entered the porch area and moved items around. Estimated loss $825.


July 2

Between 3:30 p.m. July 1 and 7:30 a.m. July 2 at Alta Brown Elementary School, 1110 E. Pine St., an unknown person took window screens and damaged another. Loss $150.

Between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Shamrock Street, an unknown person removed the expiration decal from a license plate. Loss $5.

June 30

Between 8 a.m. June 29 and 1:30 p.m. June 30 in the 300 block of West Mary Street, an unknown person forced entry into an apartment and took various items of clothing and electronics. Loss $700.

June 29

Between 8 a.m. June 28 and 10:30 a.m. June 29 at Golden Plains Credit Union, 1714 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person used a lost debit card to make a withdrawal from someone's account. Estimated loss $263.

June 27

Between 8 a.m. May 20 and 5 p.m. June 27 at the Garden City Inn, 1202 W. Kansas Ave., an unknown person took power tools. Loss $2,000.


June 28

At 5 p.m. at Sonic West, 1212 W. Kansas Ave., a known person responded to the business to intimidate a witness in a prior case. Investigation continues.

Between 7 and 7:45 p.m. at Deb's, 2204 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person shoplifted a purse from the business. Loss $20.

Jennifer Shanae Cummins, 25, 1614 Jan St., was arrested at 6 p.m. on an allegation of driving while suspended.

June 28

Nicholas Peter Biernacki, 58, 107 Barber Ave., Holcomb, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on an order to arrest and detain.

Esteban Rodriguez, 45, 450 S. Karen St., was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Michael Ray Knight, 27, 2401 Lincoln Road, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. on an allegation of domestic battery.
