The Garden City Police Department has received calls of a possible scam involving individuals selling discount/value cards while posing as Garden City High School football players.

Authorities received information that individuals are posing as Buffalo football players and selling discount/value cards throughout the city. Police said this type of card is not currently being sold by the high school. The 2014 cards will not begin to be sold until around July.

Garden City police say they have not confirmed the credibility of this information but are urging residents to use discretion and contact law enforcement at (620) 276-1300 with any concerns.
