Garden City man indicted on weapon, drug charges

A Garden City man has been indicted on multiple drug and weapon charges, according to U.S. attorney Barry Grissom.

Juvenal Bautista-Meza, 33, is charged with one count of distributing methamphetamine, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, one count of unlawfully re-entering the United States after being convicted of an aggravated felony and being deported, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a person unlawfully in the United States.

The Finney County Sheriff's Office, Garden City Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations investigated the case.
