A Garden City man was arrested Friday night on sex allegations involving two minors.

According to Garden City police Capt. Michael Reagle, at about 8:50 p.m. Friday, Anthony Kham, 34, 305 Mary St., allegedly inappropriately touched a 6-year-old boy and propositioned a 13-year-old girl for sex and then pinned her to the ground and tried to rape her, but she was able to fight her way free.

The incident took place in the north-central part of town.

Reagle said police were notified when the 13-year-old girl left the location of the incident and told another adult, who then called 911.

Kham was arrested on allegations of attempted rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated solicitation of a child.

He is lodged in the Finney County Jail on a $400,000 bond.
