At Colby, the home team was not able to get out of the gate quickly as they found themselves in an early 14-6 hole at the end of the first quarter, eventually falling to its Ulysses 52-16.

The Tigers had a good rushing attack, headed by Ian Rudzik as he ran for 119 yards on 12 carries for 3 touchdowns.

At Lakin, the Broncs couldn't outlast Hi-Plains League foe Elkhart, falling 47-35 on homecoming night.

Gage McAtee of Lakin put the Broncs on the board first with a 74-yard touchdown run. For the rest of that quarter it would be all Wildcats as they scored three more touchdowns for a 21-7 lead, then upped it to 33-21 at the half.

Caleb Seeger of Lakin was 14-of-35 passing for 213 yards and one touchdown, while the Broncs top performer in the backfield was McAtee with 16 carries for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Alex Gomez threw for 424 yards and 7 touchdowns to lead the Wildcat attack.

At Cimarron, the Bluejays jumped to a 32-0 lead by halftime on their way to a 46-14 win over Sublette on Friday to move to 3-0.

Caleb Fischer was behind Cimarron's potent offense as he completed 13 of 18 passes for 332 yards with six touchdowns, his longest being a 76-yard reception to Christian Fischer for Cimarron's first score. Christian Fischer caught six for 229 yards and four touchdowns.
