Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Thursday

Jose Armando-Hernandez, 17, 210 S. Farmland Road Lot 5, was arrested at 8 a.m. at Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation, 907 Zerr Road, on an arrest-and-detain order and lodged in the Juvenile Detention Center.

Wednesday

Jose Morales-Gutierrez, 41, Wichita, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. in the 600 block of North Eighth Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Darnell Wilks, 44, 2908 Eldorado Place, was cited and released at 8:16 p.m. in the 2900 block of Eldorado Place on allegations of criminal damage and battery from an incident that occurred earlier that day.

Tuesday

Troy Richard Fairbank, 17, 1510 Hackberry St., was arrested at 7:45 p.m. at Western State Bank, 1500 E. Kansas Ave., on allegations of theft and making false information and released to parents.

Rebecca Garcia, 64, 510 W. Maple St., was cited and released at 1:02 p.m. in the 500 block of West Maple Street on allegations of dog at large and dog bite.

Jonathan Brown, 26, 505 Hudson St., was arrested at 7:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Second Street on allegations of driving while suspened and driving while a habitual violator.

Paul Tinsley, 44, Virginia, was arrested at 9:06 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Benjamin Batey, 36, 601 N. Main St. was arrested at 1:46 p.m. in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street on allegations of four counts of burglary, three counts of felony theft, attempted felony theft and four misdemeanor counts of criminal damage.

Larry Weaver, 20, 611 N. Main St., was arrested at 1:46 p.m. in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street on allegations of four counts of burglary, three counts of felony theft, attempted felony theft and four counts of misdemeanor criminal damage.

Criminal Damage

Wednesday

Between 8 and 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Downie Drive, an unknown person damaged a car. Loss $50.

Tuesday

Between 7 and 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Fifth Street, an unknown person used an Airsoft gun to damage a residence. Loss $800.

Monday

Between 7:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way, an unknown person used an unknown object to make a hole in a vehicle's tire. Loss $20.

Thefts/Losses

Wednesday

Between 7:40 a.m. and 1:35 p.m. in the 2900 block of Fleming Street, unknown persons forced entry into a residence and removed a wallet. Loss $836.

Between 9:50 and 10:05 p.m. at Dollar General, 514 W. Mary St., a known person stole items from the store. Loss $20. Investigation continues.

Monday

At 11 a.m. at Rupp's 66, 407 E. Kansas Ave., a known person had two tires put on a vehicle at the business and left without paying. Loss $200.

Sept. 10

At 4 p.m. in the 1600 block of North C Street, an unknown person took an iPod Touch that was left on a school bus. Loss $200.

Wednesday

At 10 p.m. in the 300 block of West Mary Street, a known person battered another person and fled the area prior to officers' arrival. Investigation continues.

Sunday

At 6 p.m. in the 300 block of West Mary Street, a known person battered another known person and left the area. Investigation continues.

Wednesday

Enich Josekenneth Guerrero, 19, Deerfield, was arrested at 8:57 a.m. on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Andela Mae Meyers, 33, 405 W. Hill St., was arrested at 8:30 a.m. on a probation violation.

Cecilia Gonzalez, 40, Sublette, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. on allegations of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license and exceeding maximum speed limits.

Heather Dawn Kneeland, 41, 2122 Tara Drive, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. on allegations of refusal to submit to test for drugs or alcohol and driving under the influence.

Tuesday

Ryan Lee Ray, 35, 2924 Eldorado Place, was arrested at 12:41 p.m. on allegations of felony theft, felony burglary and felony theft by threat.

Wednesday

Abram Peters Wall, 27, Copeland, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. on an allegation of driving a commercial vehicle without a valid commercial driver's license.

Royce Varela, 24, 606 Long St., was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on allegations of driving while suspended, failure to wear a seat belt, operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance and on a bench warrant for failure to appear.
