Hiawatha man charged with indecent solicitation of child

A Hiawatha man has been charged with electronic solicitation and indecent solicitation of a child.

Timothy Davidson, 23, was arrested and taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, after a two-month investigation by Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Hiawatha Police Department, on Aug. 27, the three law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a residence in Hiawatha, in connection to a sexual assault that occurred in Hamilton County.

On Aug. 29, Davidson appeared in the District Court of Hamilton County and was charged with electronic solicitation and indecent solicitation of a child. Davidson's bond was set at $75,000.
