Man killed in Ford County crash

A Victoria man died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Ford County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, James Wohler, 50, Victoria, was southbound on U.S. Highway 283 in a 2013 Ford Van at about 9:18 a.m., as Abram Friesen, 47, Sublette, was northbound in a 1997 Kenworth Truck. According to the KHP, Wohler's vehicle crossed the center line and struck Friesen's vehicle, head-on.

Friesen was uninjured.

According to the KHP, both men were wearing seat belts.
