Garden City Model Train Show: Featuring operating layouts, train vendors and a lunch counter, with benefits going to Miles of Smiles, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Exhibition Building on the Finney County Fairgrounds.

Legislative Coffee: 10 a.m. in the cafeteria at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E. Spruce St. Complimentary breakfast served courtesy of the hospital. For more information, call 276-3264.

St. Patrick's Dance: Featuring "The Moonshiners," 8 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, U.S. Highway 83 and Mary Street. Cost is $5 at the door. The dance, sponsored by Art Green, is open to the public. There will be a prize for the Best Green Costume.

Walls & Halls art program: "Mosaic Madness" class available to students in fourth through 12th grade, 4 to 5 p.m. at Garden City Arts, 318 N. Main St. Fee is $10 for non-members; $5 for members. Registration is required. Scholarships are available.

SATURDAY, MARCH 22

N.E.W. (Never Ending Workshop): Open to children age 3 to 6, with this session's project being "Spinning Paints," 2 to 3 p.m. at Garden City Arts, 318 N. Main St. Fee is $3 for non-members; $2 for members. A parent will need to stay with their child. Space is limited to six children, and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No-Show Wine Tasting: Fund-raising event for Garden City Arts. In lieu of attendance, send your donation of: $20 for ticket level; $50, Zinfandel level; $100, Chardonnay; $150, Merlot; and $250 for Champagne. For more information, call 260-9700.
