"Sweet Indulgence": Spirit of the Plains, CASA benefit auction featuring a silent auction at 6 p.m., live auction at 7:15 p.m., hors d'oeuvres and desserts served throughout the evening and live entertainment by "Ask Vinnie" at the Clarion Inn, 1911 E. Kansas Ave. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and can be purchased at Crazy House, Clarion Inn, Riddles Jewelry, Commerce Bank and Patrick Dugans or by contacting CASA at 271-6197 or 310 E. Valentine's Dance: Featuring "Born In A Barn," 8 p.m. to midnight at the Eagles Lodge, U.S. Highway 83 and Mary Street. Open to the public.

N.E.W. (Never Ending Workshop): Open to children age 3 to 6, with this session's project being "Paper Bag Paintings," 2 to 3 p.m. at Garden City Arts, 318 N. Main St. (bring a smock). Fee is $3 for non-members; $2 for members. A parent will need to stay with their child. Space is limited to six children, and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Antiques Appraisal Fair: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Finney County 4-H Building, with attendees invited to bring their heirlooms to be appraised (walk-ins are welcome although pre-registration is suggested). Garden City Community College Blood Drive: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the back gym of the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex. All donors will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last.

ARTful Afternoons: Drop in and create art from 4 to 5 p.m. at Garden City Arts, 318 N. Main St. There is no fee for the class. Space is limited to 20 people and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
