Jerry and Glenda Harkness of Leoti will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, at the Wichita County Senior Center in Leoti. The couple requests no gifts.

Jerry and Glenda Harkness of Leoti will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, at the Wichita County Senior Center in Leoti. The couple requests no gifts.

Hosts for the reception will be their children and families: Kim and David White of Park City; Tina Harkness of Idaho Springs, Colo.; and Warren and Trisha Harkness of Scott City.

Jerry Harkness and Glenda Strecker, both of Leoti, were married Sept. 15, 1963, in Leoti.

They have six grandsons, one granddaughter-in-law and one great-granddaughter.
